Urmatorul concurs dupa Liman Bike Race era un concurs de sosea la noi in Arad. Era o tura de aprox 2 km si am avut de parcurs 10 ture, eu fiind in categoria MTB profi. Mare concurenta nu am avut, din prima tura am ramas in frunte cu Andy Kis, si cu el am mers pana la final, unde am reusit sa castig la sprint.<br />

A urmat un cocnurs cu ghinion pentru mine, Defileul Jiului. Totul a pornit bine, am reusit sa iau startul bine, m-am simtit in forma, si langa asta am avut sanse pentru un loc 2-3. Dar norocul nu a tinut cu mine, la km 20 am facut o explozie pe spate, mi s-a taiat anvelopa, aici sa terminat concursul pentru mine, am mers pe jos 3 km pana la urmatorul check point unde am fost transportat la zona de start.</div>

Am intrat in luna iunie, si am luat start la unele dintre maratoanele mele preferate, Maratonul Medieval Medias. Ca si in ultimele ani am avut parte de noroi, parerea mea este ce fara noroi ar fii prea plictisitor acest maraton. M-am pregatit sufletesc pentru un noroi pana la gat, dar din fericire era mai usor traseul ca si anul trecut. </div>

Anul acesta organizatorii n-au pragatit un traseu complet diferit.<br />
Din punctul meu de vedere era un traseu mult mai frumos, mai tehnic si pentru mine mai ciclabil.<br />

Primele km am parcurs pe asfalt dupa masina de politie, dupa care am luat spre dreapta in padure. Era o prtiune usor in urcare, apoi a urmat prima urcare mai grea, unde era si portiune de push bike. Am urcat in jur de 3,5 km, dupa care a urmat o coborare in viteza. primele km era destul de greau pentru mine, pana cand m-am incalzit, tot am incercat sa-l prind pe cei din fata, dar nu am reusit nici cum. De obicei eram singur iar cei din fata 2-3 rideri, din care aveam si colegii din club. Pana la 20 de km nu prea s-a intamplat nimica, eram tot in urmarire, dar dintr-o data m-am intalnit cu o perete de asfalt in fata mea, era o urcare infernala de cateva sute de metrii, aici in sfarsit am reusit sa-l ajung in urma pe baietii.<br />

Stiam ca nu sunt foarte multi in fata mea, speram la un loc pe podiu. Cum am facut calulele ma gandeam ca sunt pe locul 4. Am stiut ca trebuie sa trec la fapte. Am reusit sa ma distantiezi de fratele meu si de inca un rider, am zis gata, sunt pe locul III trebuie sa mentin ritmul aacesta pana la final, ce nu era departe, dar a mai urmat o urcare periculoasa.<br />
Cand am intrat in urcare, am vazut in fata pe Kitty si pe inca un rider de la Geiger. Aici m-am dat seama ca defapt sunt pe locul 4, si nu mai am avut destul timp si km din traseu la dispozitie pentru a mai face un efort in plus sa mai avansez un loc.<br />

Inainte de final am mai avut o coborare mai tehnica dar in viteza.<br />
Cand am trecut linia de finish mi s-a confirmat ca sun pe locul 4. In sfarsit anul acesta am avut parte de un concurs organizat si desfasurat asa cum trebuie.<br />
Traseul era frumos, cu portiuni rapide si tehnice. Am avut de parcurs 35 km.<iframe frameborder="0" height="548" src="http://connect.garmin.com:80/activity/embed/173255094" width="465"></iframe> <br />
M-am simti bine in timpul concursului, la inceput am tras un pic cam tare, dar pe la jumate am reusit sa ma incalzesc. Tot traseul era defapt o catarare lunga, dupa care o cobarare lunga si la final o catarare mai dura numita si "Golgota".<br />

Din fericire nu am avut probleme tehnice, doar am cazut la 4 km inainte de final. Era o portiune plata, dar drumul era inclinat spre stanga. Asta nu era problema dar avea niste trepte, iar din neatentie m-a alunecat roata din fata si m-am rostogolit in jos. In momentul acesta am mers impreuna cu fratele meu. Nu stiam pe ce loc sunt, dar ma gandeam ca undeva pe locul 6-7.<br />
Dupa ce m-am ridicat, am continuat, dar Zsolt avea deja un avans de vreo 150 m.<br />
Am intrat in ultima catarare si am vrut sa ma hidratez, dar.....surpriza. Nu mai am bidon, l-am pierdut cand am cazut.<br />
Partea nasoala era ca urcarea avea vreo 2 km si nu era umbra. Dar din fericire am mai baut ceva inainte sa-l pierd.<br />
Am terminat cararea si a urmat o coborare in viteza in parcare de la Polus Center.<br />

Am trecut linia de Finish si am auzit ca am iesit pe locul 4. Atunci am fost nervos ca de ce nu am fost mai atent. Daca nu cadeam puteam sa ies si pe locul 3.<br />

S-a terminat si Maratonul mtb organizat de Probikers Oradea.<br />
In prima parte asi vrea sa scriu ce,cat si cum am avut de parcurs.<br />

Despre traseu: nu era un Despre traseu: nu era un traseu la care o sa ma amintesc in toata viata mea. Era mai mult un traseu de cicloturism, de cat MTB, avand in vedere ca 50% era asfalt.<br />

Nu am ramas imopresionat de concurs, atat de traseu cat si de organizare. Am avut 6 ture, dar in tura a 5-aam fost prins de primul rider care terminase cursa, si am fost oprit.</div>

Am participat mai mult sa ma testez, sa vad cat am reusit sa ma pregatesc iarna. Avand in vedere ca doar de o luna am inceput sa ma antrenez serios, sunt multumit de rezultat, dar cred ca pot si mai mult de atat.</div>

Despre traseu:</div>

Era un traseu de inceput de sezon, cu nu foarte multe portiuni tehnice. Am inceput in o scurta ascensiune, dupa care am intrat intr-o zona de padura cu slalom intre copaci, am iesit din padure si a urmatr o portiune de fuga pe o mica ascensiune, dupa care a urmat o coborare de viteza, o mica urcare si a urmat o coborare abrupta si mai tehnica, din nou cateva sute de metri e viteza, si o prtiune de urcare treptat cu niste portiuni mai grele, dupa care am virat la dreapta pe un fals plat spre linia de finish.</div>

In a treia tura am avut o mica problema tehnica cu schimbatorul de spate, mi sa desfacut cablul si trebuia sa ma opresc sa-l pun inapoi, dar facan cu graba nu prea functiona cum trebuia. </div>

Penultima incercare din anul 2011 era un maraton in judetul Salaj, Alien Cycling Maraton.</div>

Vremea nu era cea mai buna, cu o zii inainte de concurs a ploat in continu, si era in jur de 10-15 grade. In ziua concursului nu a mai ploat, dar frigul nu a disparut. Startul era din centrul Zalaului pe o portiune de asfalt in urcare circa 3,5 km. Pana la intrarea in padure am fost asigurati de mai multe masini pe politie.<br />

Stiam ca nu o sa fie usor sa parcurg cele 52 km, imi era frica de noroi, mai ales ca nici nu m-am pregatit cu anvelope corespunzatoare. La inceput sa parea ca nu e asa rau cum am asteptat, dar cand am iesit din padure, am avut parte de noroi lipicios care imi facea probleme. S-au blocat rotile si nu am avut de ales, bicicleta pe umar si sa ajung cat mai repede pe drum ciclabil. Undeva pe la mijlocul traseului am avut parte de o portiune de asfalt, unde am putu sa ma odihnesc un pic, dar nu stiam ca partea ce mai grea doar acuma urmeaza. Am avut o urcare un jur de 10 km, majoritatea in noroi lipicios. Simteam parca pedalez pe o panta de 20% defapt nu avea nici 10%. La un moment dat simteam ca am ajuns pe varf, era mai frig cu 2-3 grade si ceata, Problema era cand am inceput sa cobor, imi era frig, fiind transpirat de la 10 km de urcat. </div>

Coborarea nu a tinut foarte mult, ca uram uramatoarea urcare de 2 km. Din nou am intrat in ceata si in frig, dupa care a urmat o coborare friguroasa. A urmat ultima urcare dupa care am coborat la final.<br />
Finalul era foarte interesant, ma asteptam sa intru din nou in Zalau, dar cand colo m-am chinuit sa inaitez in noroi, un arbitru de traseu im zicea : "La 200 m ai un cort alb pe partea dreapta, acolo e finalul!!" Nici nu am realizat bine ce a zis, ca eram deja langa cortul respactiv unde ma opreau baietii.</div>

Asta se putea observa si la organizare.<br />Pachet de inscriere bogat, numar cu chip, traseu marcat bine, puncte de alimentare bogate. Ca de obicei erau 2 lungimi de traseu, 50 si 80 km. A trecut cu bine si asta , dupa care o portiune valonata in padure si o ultima urcare care era nou anul acesta. A urmat o prtiune de coborare in viteza pe drum cu pietrisi, dupa care s-au despartit traseele. Ma siteam bine pana la km 21-22, unde a fost pushbike-ul in jur de 1 km. Inclinatia maxima era 32%. Aici am pierdut mult timp, si am fost depasiti de mai multi concurenti. <br />In data de 21.08.2011 a fost organizat a IV-a editie a Maratonului Geiger MTB Challange.
<br />Ca de obicei erau doua tipuri de trasee, 50 si 100 km, cu mci modificari. Noutate in anul acesta era traseul de Family, 10 km.
<br />Eu m-am inscris la semimaraton (50 km). Fiind prima mea participare la acest maraton, nu prea stiam la ce sa ma astept. Am vazut diferenta de nivel, dar nu am stiut cat de tehnic e traseul.
<br />Primi 6-7 km era pe asfalt pana cand am iesit din oras si am intrat in padure, unde au inceput catararile.

Era in padure, cu serpentine, drum ingust pe unele portiuni curat, iar pe altele cu bolovani, scurgeri de apa si radacini. Traseul ce am inregistrat cu GPS-ul imi arata ca inclinatia maxima in coborare era de 41%, probabil doar cateva metri. Erau portiuni de coborare unde defapt nici nu era drum, doar niste scurgeri de apa uscata, plin cu bolovani si radacini, deci deloc nu era o coborare relaxanta. In plus de toate astea a inceput sa am crampe la picior, care ma deranja la stabilitate.
<br />Din fericire nu am cazut pe portiunile astea. Cand eram la sfarsitul coborarii, inainte sa trec pe un drum asfaltat, era un sant inaintea mea. Nu era mare, dar din viteza si neatentie nu l-am observat din timp, si nu am putut sa franez destul de mult, dar nici viteza suficienta nu am avut sa-l ridic fata bicicletei peste sant, asa ca bicicleta a ramas blocat, iar eu am zburat mai departe. <br />In jur de kilometrul 48 am auns pe o portiune de asflat, si am crezut ca pana la finish tot asa o sa fie, dar m-am inselat, cand un arbitru de traseu din fata mea a facut samn sa intru pe stanga in padure. <br />Pana la urma am terminat in 3:06:17 care a fost de ajuns pentru locul 13 in categoria mea. Nu zic ca sunt multumit cu rezultatul acesta, dar sper ca la anul, deja cunsocund traseul o sa reusesc u n rezultat mai bun.

<br />Anul acestea n-a adus noutati ceea ce priveste traseul. Vazand profilul si harta, am vazut ca e diferit fata de anul trecut. Au modificat sa fie mai greu.

<br />Au marit diferenta de nivel aproape dublu, pe care l-am si simtit. Sincer era destul de obositor, am facut tot ce am putut sa merg cat mai bine.
<br />Dupa start la prima urcare am simtit ca ceva nu e bine, degeaba pedalam cat am putut, parca tot mai incet mergeam. Dupa 5 km am inceput sa ma simt mai bine, dar nu am putut sa ajung din urma pe ceilalti. Ultima urcare era destul de obositor, cu portiuni mai tehnice si abrupte.
<br />Incet am trecut si de aceasta portiune, si credeam ca am trecut de ce a fost greu, si o sa fie o coborare rapida pana la finish, dar -am inselat.

Nu am avut probleme nici cu marcaj(asta e un lucru bun, ca anul acesta la mai multe concursuri am avut parte de rataciri).
<br />In fina am iesit pe locul 9 in general si pe locul 6 in categorie.
<br />Sper ca la urmatoarele concursuri o sa fiu mai odihnit si o sa am un rezultat mai bun.

Anul acesta s-a lansat o formulă competiţională inedită: 2 curse diferite în 2 zile consecutive.</p><p>Ziua 1 cursa de sosea, iar ziua 2, maraton si semi maraton de MTB unde am paeticipat si eu.</p><p>Traseul nu era greu din punct de vedere a catararilor sau a coborarilor. Cei 35 de km treceau foarte repede.</p><p>Primele si ultimele 4-5 km erau pe asflat, in rest mai mult pe teren deschis, nu era portiune in padure.</p><p>In afara de caldura si ca nu era marcat traseul normal nu aveam probleme. Din cauza asta lipdei de marcaj n-am ratacit de vreo 4 ori. In final am fost intr-un pluton cu 8 ciclisti, stiam ca o sa fie un sprint la final. Bicicliştii au reuşit să se facă înţeleşi cel puţin sâmbătă, având, ce-i drept, la dispoziţie pentru acele două ore, o „pistă” foarte mare (întreaga şoseaua pe un sens de mers). Totul mergea bine, am trecut cu bine si de catararea de 21% care avea in jur de 800 m, dar la coborare am cazut destul de rau. Rezultatul acestei cazaturi era o ameteala de 10 secunde. Pot sa zic ca acest concurs era cel mai dur, nu ca si lungime, era prea intens pe un traseu greu.<br />Daca acest concurs era candva in iulie, august era mai bun pentru mine, nu am avut pregatirea necesara, si nu eram odihnit sufucient, dupa 10 ore lucrate zilnic, nu m-am simtit in forma dar sper ca la urmatoarele concursuri o sa ma simt din ce in cemai bine.<br />Acest lucru s-a vazut si la rezultatul obtinut, m-am clasat pe locul 17 din 34. M-am gandit sa-mi cobstruiesc inca o bicicleta pentru aceste vremuri. Tot m-am gandit, din ce piese sa-l fac? Nu am vrut sa fie nici foarte slab, dar nici prea bun. Asa cum ne-au obisnuit deja, acesta s-a desfasurat in ultima duminica a lunii septembrie, in aceeasi locatie a Muntilor Gilaului, oferindu-ne ca si in 2009 doua lungimi de trasee: 50 km si 80 km si peste 2600 m diferenta de nivel. În 2010 au fost urmatorele noutati pentru participanti:- proba lunga de 80 km a avut categoriile de Elite (Femei / Barbati) separate fata de cele de Hobby. Dar nu era asa... inainte de finish cu 5 km s-a terminat "benzina".
